4 cocktail ideas to celebrate Mother’s Day

It’s time to toast your mother!

On this very special day, every sign of affection is welcome. Offer her a moment to please her with an original menu and homemade cocktails. Cristal d’Arques offers you a list of 4 cocktails to make for Mother’s Day.

Lychee cocktail, Prosecco and rose water.

These ingredients go perfectly together to create a sweet cocktail for the aperitif. However, for those who don’t necessarily like Prosecco, you can replace it with champagne or asti, which is an Italian sparkling white wine.

To make this recipe, you will need

  • 1 bottle of Prosecco
  • 4 cases per glass of lychee juice
  • 2 cac per glass of rose water
  • 1 lychee per glass, for decoration

Preparation :

  • In each glass, pour the Prosecco up to 3/4 of the way up the glass
  • Add the lychee juice
  • Top with the rose water
  • Place a lychee at the bottom of each glass

Tips:

 

 

  • If you want a sweeter cocktail with more lychee presence, pour the Prosecco up to halfway down the glass and add the doses of lychee juice and rose water.
  • To get the pink colour of the cocktail, pour in a few drops of pomegranate or the tip of a knife of pink food colouring.

Mango and Passion Fruit Mojito

We all know that mums love mojitos, so what better way to have a unique moment than with a revisited mojito.

Ingredients for 1 glass:

  • 10 mint leaves
  • 5 cl of white rum
  • crushed ice
  • 1/2 lime
  • 15 cl mango juice
  • 1 tsp cane sugar
  • 1 dash of Canadou
  • 10 cl sparkling water
  • 1/2 passion fruit

Preparation:

  1. Mix the mango flesh, then add a dash of water.
  2. In a cocktail glass, put the lime and cane sugar in the glass and crush it with a pestle.
  3. Hit the mint leaves to release the flavours, then add the crushed ice. To finish, add the Canadou and the passion fruit seeds.

All you have to do is enjoy it!

Red fruit mocktail

To satisfy everyone, while remaining in the festive spirit. Here is a mocktail that everyone will love!

Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 80 cl cranberry juice
  • 2 vanilla sticks
  • 4 bunches of redcurrants
  • 400 g red fruit (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries)
  • 4 small bunches of fresh mint
  • crushed ice

Preparation:

  1.  the cranberry juice into a saucepan. Split the vanilla pod and add it to the pan. Bring to the boil, then leave to cool. Remove the vanilla pod and strain the juice.
  2. Placing the crushed ice on a third of the height of the glasses. Cut the strawberries into pieces and place them in the glasses, alternating the different fruits.
  3. The cranberry juice over the fruit and garnish the glasses with fresh mint.

Clover Club

Because a fruity drink will always please them, here is the recipe for this chic and light pink raspberry cocktail.

Ingredients for 1 glass:

  • 45 ml London dry gin
  • 14 ml raspberry syrup
  • 15 ml extra dry vermouth
  • 23 ml squeezed lemon juice
  • a lemon peel

To prepare:

  1. Put the ice cubes in a shaker
  2. Add all the ingredients
  3. Hit and strain finely with a cocktail strainer
  4.  The contents of the shaker into a cocktail glass
